Safety
Snowmobiles
Snowmobiling is serious fun. Be sure to read and understand your owner’s manual and please pay special attention to the safety instructions. Arctic Cat Inc. endorses and encourages the safe use of all snowmobiles. Be careful; you can get hurt. Wear a helmet and don’t drink and ride. Be aware of natural hazards you may encounter, allow yourself plenty of room to safely stop your snowmobile under all conditions, and maintain your equipment. Your safety is in your hands, so take care. All scenes depicted or described on this site were performed by professional riders under carefully controlled conditions. Leave the fancy riding to the pros; they practice for years and train very hard to make it look easy. Never attempt to duplicate these maneuvers or encourage others to do so. We care about your safety and enjoyment of the sport. All materials and specifications are subject to change without notice. ATVs
At Arctic Cat®, we make vehicles that can add fun to your life and help lighten your workload. But it’s no fun if someone gets hurt. Please use your head when operating Arctic Cat vehicles, or any motorized vehicle.
Always wear a helmet when snowmobiling and ride within your ability. Wear a life jacket when operating your watercraft. Be alert; use common sense when operating your craft and don’t drink and ride. ATV Safety: ATVs can be hazardous to operate. For your safety always wear a helmet, eye protection, and protective clothing. Never ride on paved surfaces or public roads. Never carry passengers; never engage in stunt driving; riding and alcohol/drugs don’t mix and could cause injury or even death. Avoid excessive speeds and be particularly careful on difficult terrain. The Arctic Cat ATV may not be ridden by anyone under 16 years of age. Arctic Cat recommends that all riders take a training course, and that they read and understand their owner’s manual before operation. For safety or training information, see your dealer or call the ATV Safety Institute at 1-800-887-2887. Along with concerned conservationists everywhere, Arctic Cat urges you to “Tread Lightly” on public and private land. Preserve your future riding opportunities by showing respect for the environment, local laws, and the rights of others when you ride. Arctic Cat snowmobiles, Tigershark® watercraft and Arctic Cat ATVs are World Class products of Arctic Cat Inc. ©1999 Arctic Cat Sales Inc. ®TM Trademarks of Arctic Cat Inc.
