Going into every race, Tucker Hibbert knows his snowmobile will not let him down. The same racing chassis that lines up during race season is pretty much the same ProCross™ chassis found in our stock performance machines. You see, it isn't just a race track. It's also a test track.
The ProCross chassis is made up of an inner- and outer-formed shell with boxed support structure to make up the two-piece tunnel, giving additional strength and weight savings. Put it all together and you get one amazing chassis.
The tapered design gives the rider better leg positioning for both stand-up and sit-down riding styles. Large running board cutouts clear out snow for easy foot movement on the running boards.
The triangulated design increases rigidity with incredible strength and reduced weight. While the shock angle distributes trail force to the mega-strong triangulated spars.

For 2014 we usher in the new model year with a new engine naming system. In order of horsepower we begin with the 9000, followed by the 8000, 7000, 6000 and 5000. Two brand-new highly anticipated engines highlight the 2014 lineup. The 600 C-TEC2™, otherwise known as the 6000 series, has arrived after nearly four years in development. The 7000, an all-new C-TEC4™ engine, is a whole new standard of performance, efficiency and reliability. How do you choose the one for you? 180-Class HorsepowerThe 9000 C-TEC4 turbocharged 1056cc 4-stroke engine produces 177 HP at any elevation and temperature - making it the most powerful production engine ever in a snowmobile. And this intercooled turbo system utilizes 9 psi of boost.
160+ HorsepowerThe 8000, 794cc, liquid-cooled 2-stroke engine produces 160+ HP. It features a lightweight crankshaft, batteryless EFI, APV electronic exhaust valves, Exhaust Pipe Temperature System and weight-saving engine-reverse technology.
135-Class HorsepowerThis clean 1049cc 4-stroke triple produces 135-class leading horsepower and delivers excellent fuel economy. And EFI optimizes performance in all temperatures and altitudes.
125-Class HorsepowerThe 6000 C-TEC2 2-stroke is powerful, durable, lightweight, fuel-efficient and pure Arctic Cat.® The electronic oil pump can accurately meter fuel/oil ratios not only by RPM, but also by altitude, dramatically reducing oil and fuel consumption.
The Arctic Cat® suspension is a sharpshooter's best friend. However, there is a distinct suspension package for your preferred terrain: The RR is stiff. The Sno Pro® is firm. The LXR is soft. Take a minute to acquaint yourself with the finer points of each.
