Our utility sleds got beefier in more ways than one this year. The ProUte chassis is bigger, bolder and more capable than anything out on the market. While the addition of our new 3000 C-TEC4™ engine adds one more solid choice to help get all of your chores done. So go ahead and take a look.
Introducing the ProUte chassis. This is the all-new platform for what may be the most functional snowmobiles the world has ever known. The ProUte chassis turns the previous Bearcat®, a sled with beefy proportions, into a remarkably easy handling machine. The ProUte WT is designed for our 20″ wide track. Whether you’re towing, touring, grooming or patrolling the ski slopes, there has never been a more capable chassis.
The Bearcat® 2000 LT, XT and XTE is built on the Twin Spar chassis which incorporates two box-aluminum spars triangulated with the steering supports, and tunnel spars are incorporated for an exceedingly rigid ride. Also, self-piercing rivet construction ensures joint rigidity and overall strength.
The geometry of the front suspension directs load paths to the center of the chassis. This configuration gives the front end an aggressive look and equally aggressive handling characteristics. The lightweight, one-piece forged aluminum spindle is designed for strength. Ball joints prevent friction and create better rider feedback. Overall, this design makes these sleds highly maneuverable in all conditions.
All Bearcat® 2000s are equipped with Arctic Cats legendary AWS VII front suspension. A sway bar and twin tube shocks give you the control and feeling you want with less rider effort.
The Bearcat® 7000 XTs wide track employs the all-new articulating rear suspension. Articulation allows the rear of the suspension to move up and down as you ride across rougher snow. It also makes your machine more maneuverable. When backing up, make sure you’re in the unlocked position. This allows the rear of the frame to lever up, rather than dig into the snow. When you want more traction, lock the skid and you’ll have a straight-rail suspension that takes full advantage of the 154″ track.
The Bearcat® 2000 XT™ and 2000 XTE wide track models come standard with an articulating rear suspension. Loosen the springs for full articulating motion or tighten the springs to create a straight-rail suspension. This workhorse is one versatile machine.
Race-day technology has been brought to everyday performance. The SLIDE-ACTION Rear Suspension maintains a free-acting front arm while coupling under torque over bumps, and during aggressive cornering and acceleration. As the rear transfer blocks are engaged, the front arm follows the bump, keeping your skis firmly planted. It’s the only suspension featuring a U-shaped slot that fits over a fixed shaft to allow a crucial half-inch of sliding movement (SLIDE-ACTION). This significant detail controls ski lift during acceleration.
The narrower 37.5″–43.5″ adjustable ski stance on the Bearcat® 7000 XTs improves off-trail maneuverability. The new 10/8 skis are 10″ at their widest, tapering to 8″. The tipped-up design allows you to run on deep snow without trenching.
Clean, reliable and excellent fuel economy. The 1049cc 4-stroke triple produces 135-class-leading horsepower, and the EFI optimizes performance in all temperatures and altitudes.
Presenting our newest engine, the 65-class horsepower 700cc 4-stroke. It’s compact and lightweight, and thanks to electronic fuel injection, throttle response is immediate. This new 4-stroke will raise eyebrows across the snowbelt.
This 2-stroke fan-cooled carbureted engine is powerful, durable and efficient. Value-focused at 565cc, push-button engine reverse is standard with this fan-cooled beauty
TEAM Industries is adding even more performance to your Arctic Cat® this year with their primary and secondary clutches. Known in the industry to be lightweight and strong, they also eliminate slippage, which allows the belt and clutch temperatures to stay low while more power is transferred to the track. They also make clutch tuning easy and precise.
