Team Arctic. Armed and outrageous. Introducing the 2006
440 Sno Pro.
Loaded with performance–enhancing weapons, the 440 Sno Pro is
ready for battle. Upgraded front and rear suspension. Quicker throttle
response. And with some extra ponies from low to high end, you’ve
got yourself one bulletproof sled.
But we went one step farther. Making the 440 Sno Pro invincible. Refining
all the race–after–race winning features — better
cornering and suspension capabilities, improved rider ergonomics and
an enhanced bottom end.
Key Features
- An all–new, three–position, adjustable steering post
angle allows two forward positions for improved racer comfort and
mobility
- Quicker throttle response, enhanced bottom end, and increased horsepower
throughout the engine’s power band
- Strengthened areas of the chassis, engine, and suspension provide
race–winning longevity
- Separated front and rear arm shocks for quicker valving calibration
changes and greater external adjustability
Engine/Drivetrain Features
- 440cc engine with revised intake flanges, V-Force reeds, and a
new boost bottle provides quicker throttle response, enhanced bottom
end, and increased horsepower from low to high end
- New TEAM Industries slip gear reduces the peak shock loads to the
drive system to increase the chain and drive system life
- A lightened TEAM Industries driven clutch minimizes rotating mass
- Refined chain tension pad has more initial surface to reduce the
amount of pad wear
- A new plate brace on the engine decreases premature drive belt
wear and reduces movement to relieve stress on the engine mounts
and improve clutch alignment consistency
- A revised muffler exhaust outlet decreases engine bogging when
landing in deep holes or whoop sections
Chassis/Suspension Features
- Revised front spindles have a stronger extrusion for increased
durability
- Addition of front end steering support down tubes increases strength
and reduces front end chassis flex
- New Fox Float® ski shocks have a larger air chamber and different
valving code for greater air pressure to carry the sled higher and
allow the shock to stroke deeper
- A new center link in the steering system reduces flexing of the
steering (bell crank) tubes to make the front ski alignment more
consistent and the steering more precise
- Front upper A–arms strengthened with a new cross brace that
minimizes flexing
- Compression adjustable front arm shock with position–sensitive
valving for a plush initial ride and improved bottoming control
- New rear shocks
- The rear arm shock has compression and rebound adjustability for
the ultimate in fine tuning
