The Norseman and Norseman X are your go anywhere, do anything machines with a revolutionary hybrid of utility, trail and crossover technology.
The ProUte chassis is a snowmobile with beefy proportions and is a remarkably easy handling machine. The ProUte WT is designed for our 20″ wide track. Whether you’re towing, touring, grooming or patrolling the ski slopes, there has never been a more capable chassis.
No matter if you are on the job or on the trail, convenient, out-of-the-way storage is a helpful thing to have. The rear storage rack on the Norseman X give you all that and more with its heavy-duty construction.
This articulating system allows the rear of the suspension to move up and down as you ride across rougher snow, making your machine more maneuverable and more versatile. Backing up in the unlocked position allows the rear of the frame to lever up, rather than dig into the snow. For more traction, just lock the skid and you’ll have a straight-rail suspension that takes full advantage of the track.
Select 2019 models feature easier-to-use handlebar-mounted controls, with improved ergonomics, that transmit information on the digital instrument gauge while riding. Toggle the display screen on the gauge with just the push of a button. Another new button gives you the freedom of push-to-start on 6000 and 8000 Series models so both hands can stay on the handlebars while starting models equipped with electric start. Momentary-style hand- and thumb-warmer switches provide more heat level settings and also prevent unintended setting changes.
The Bearcat is a classic workhorse with the muscle and capabilities to get any job done.
Combines tall ski spindles and widely spaced A-arms for the greatest torsional rigidity and strength. The lower A-arms mount to the chassis at an angle from the chassis centerline, with optimal caster/camber angles to improve comfort and cornering traction while reducing bump steer.
The Bearcat XT uses the proven TSS front suspension which puts you in control with hydraulic gas cell shocks to soak up the largest of bumps.
The 8000 — efficient, responsive and fresh out of St. Cloud, Minnesota. This 2-stroke engine features noticeably faster throttle response and acceleration compared with our previous 8000, plus up to 30% reduction in oil consumption below 7000 rpm, 36% increase in low-end torque and 18% increase in midrange torque. Delivering a rare combination of increased power, reduced emissions and ultra-low oil consumption, the overall crispness sets new standards for performance and rideability in the 160-HP class.
Part of our clean technology family, the 7000 is a 1049cc 4-stroke, renowned for easily accessible midrange power. This quick-revving triple maintains optimal power thanks to EFI and a state-of-the-art engine management system designed to reduce engine braking.
This 599cc 2-stroke DSI is the unmodified version of the engine that’s been launching Team Arctic down the racetrack since 2012. This quick-revving, 125-class horsepower C-TEC2™ power mill is the product of a world-class engine assembly plant — ours. Whether you’re riding a ZR an M or a Crossover, the 6000 is one of the most satisfying engines found in a snowmobile.
The 700cc 4-stroke EFI engine combines sufficient power with clean technology and incredible fuel efficiency, earning itself a place in the Arctic Cat engine lineup. It’s compact. It’s lightweight. And thanks to electronic fuel injection, throttle response is immediate. Work or play, this 4-stroke is raising eyebrows across the snowbelt.
With the Bearcat 7000 XT, you’ve got the power. You’ve got the strength. Now you have Wide Range 3 with Easy Shift. Nobody goes lower than this. Shift into super low and you’re off with no track spin. A gear ratio this low was previously unheard of. When venturing out into deeper snow, the risk of getting stuck is virtually nil. Put all 135-class HP to work, utilizing the gear that’s right for the conditions.
The Arctic Drive System features CVT drive and driven clutches for a combination of smooth shifting, optimal performance, maximum durability; great serviceability; and reduced weight. The new drive clutch features a roller bearing on the shaft that enables an auto-adjusting belt tension design and delivers consistent performance without manual adjustments. It also features a 12.5 percent lower effective starting ratio (while maintaining the top ratio) for smoother engagement and reduced belt wear at drive-away speed, with more evenly distributed force for lower belt pressure. It’s a design that’s unique to Arctic Cat.
